E36 M3 - 3G EWS Alarm System HELP!

Hi all, anyone know anything about these or a specialist who can fix them?

The remotes have stopped communicating with the alarm. So I cannot switch it off.
The battery did not go flat, I am hoping it might have lost it's memory for the remotes, but seems unlikely?
I cannot switch it off without performing a ritual with a secret code!
I also don't seem to have the key for the siren, but I don't think this would make much difference as I think it only turns the siren off. I disconnected the siren and the battery back up in the siren lasted about 30 seconds before dying.
The alarm is still armed and the indicators flash when I open the doors/ start the engine.

There is a way of dis-arming the alarm. It's quite tricky and involves removal (or partial) of the alarm module behind the glove box. Will look into it and send you a messasge if you like. Steve

Mine failed and stranded me in Liverpool. BMW in Liverpool couldn't get in and reset the brain - it just wouldn't reset, they ended up ripping it all out.

If you want any spares I took the same system out of my car about 1 week ago (fully working) but no use on a track car.

I might be interested. I have had it re-coded by BMW, but it might fail again.
Looks like it's the main alarm ECU and/or transponder unit. Cheers.
