Resale disaster?

I like it, but I suspect I may be in the minority.

Pretty vile.

It's even worse in the flesh yuck

Pheonix Yellow is marmite, Sepang Bronze is suicide.

IMO of course

Probably even worse with the bronze interior - reminds me of the 1985 ford Orion champagne gold. Nice !

Look at BMW's leasing offers. They'll take the car back for a fixed price, no matter if it is rep silver over black or a bronze over red. Mine has 51% residual value for 105k km in 36 months; and it's white over brown smile

each to his own, i think Sepang is marmite (i like it smile by Pheonix yellow is suicide, but thats just me... though i still wouldn't by a Sepang car as i agree, residuals would be less due to the marmite situation.

If a Sepang Bronze had been around when I was looking I'd have snapped it up.

Great colour imho

I think it depends on the car. I dont like 5's in it, but that 6 above looks great. And I recall seeing an X5 in it which looked nice.

As an interior colour, its quite pleaseing. My Bro has it in his black M5 and it looks lovely.

Are you looking at the M6 on autotrader for less that £30K?

A little off topic/hijacking the thread but does anyone know why the black 18K £32K M6 (ELMS collection) on pistonheads hasn't shifted yet?

http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/689819.htm

The price has dropped quite a bit and colour and interior seem ok.

Makes no difference on the M6, as the car is so damn ugly the colour is irrelevant! biggrin

i think it looks good in the flesh - i detailed one monday. That said i would neve buy one in that colur as i feel i'd never sell it without losing a fortune ( even more than you would on an M6 already )

When the M6 was launched one of the dealers got "allocated" a sepang bronze M6, it was registered as a demo for the dealer principal, actually looked pretty good in bright sunlight (or a very very very dark light...) would NEVER put my own money into a sepang coloured car though..no matter what..IMHO

So do I ... in that photo .... in the bright sun .... and spotlessly clean.

Haven't seen one in the real world with a dose of grime to give a real verdict.

If you're thinkng of that car, Dion from Elms is highly recommended by a number of chaps on the Ferrari, Mas, Lamb & Bug forum. I dealt with him a year or so ago and while I didnt end up buying something off him, he's a nice chap to deal with.
