took the spoiler off the car and managed to undo all 8 allen headed bolts but the black "adjustable" part wont budge. All bolts turn freely although they have not wound out as expected ,they just turn, they feel threaded.
should i leave alone or is there something i aint doing?
cheers darron

The bolts need to come all the way out I'm afraid.

as already said, the bolts need to be completly removed.
but it sounds to me like the 'riv-nuts' are turning in the spoiler.

yep ,i would agree,do you think it could be persuaded, and refixed in the higher position?
i am asking this as i dont really know the construction,if the thigs are threaded, i assume the thread in the spoiler not the fixings has failed, i would have thought it would be ok to force it off and re fix higher??

There should be eight bolts holding the adjustable flap to the spolier, are you saying that all eight of them at 'just turning'?

One or two of the 'captive nuts' in the spolier I could understand, but all eight? There has got to be more to this...........

I would remove the spoiler from the car, invert it on a bench and then see what is going on, if all the 'captive nuts' are no longer captive then the guerney flap should come away from the spoiler with some carefully placed, wrapped, levers.
