Looks like a real bargain that, especially with the Inspection 2 having just been done.

I'd check what tyres he's put on - as if he was getting rid of it you might have some cheap rubber on there, which makes a big, big difference. Regardless, looks like a great deal.

Tyres fitted at a BM dealer so will be good....Not sure about the wood trim...its dark but piano black or one of the greys would have been good.

great - I paid similar money for an 02 model recently.

Sunroof is rare and 18' are not what the market likes but I prefer them. 19' not very expensive on ebay anyway.

Enjoy smile

Im sure you can change the wood trim and i don't think it costs to much ask your local dealer or even an indy for after market ones.

Buy a set of trims off ebay and swap them out, that wood is horendous, but seems a great price.

I would make sure all 4 tyres match, different rears to fronts make the car really twitchy.

I would say its a realistic reflection of current times.....there are regular 53 plate/04 low mileage cars now selling for 13400 to 14500....I should know especially as I missed out on a few before this one. The market is full of very high valuations though and you can see the same car advertised for 17-18k....which is fine, if you don't really want to sell. If you look at what actually sells on Pistonheads, it tends to be keenly priced cars. The over priced cars just get re-advertised again and again...I have been watching the classified for 6 weeks now and there is definately a downward trend. I was offered a 60k mile SMG 2002 Topaz blue, black heated leather with sat nav etc... for 11k. Problem is its in scotland....interestingly it was sold for £19000 in feb 2008 by a BMW dealer, now anyone can have it for 11k.

cheapest car was a £8750 02 car with 89k......had an valve train engine issue though.

It's like anything else......everything is relative and all cars have fallen so if you sell an M3, that 911 you have yearned after is also worth a lot less than it was.

Looks good to me too. Amazing value for money, it will probably continue to drop in value but you can sit back and enjoy the ride. Your point on pricing is very true, there has always been a large spread of prices almost irrespecitve of condition.

Good work fella.

Looks brilliant! Would be nice to see the condition of the interior but I love that colour combination. Good luck with it smile
