Having a bad week!

In 15 months of M3 ownership I have had not so much as a scratch. In the last ten days I have had the car reversed into and in a separate case of vandalism dented. Both sorted last friday for £230.

I have just returned to the car tonight to find some bar steward has nicked the silver M3 vent/badge thing from the front left wing leaving a gaping hole.

Anyone know where to source one and the likely cost. I am assuming the only answers are BMW dealer (Many £), Ebay (Some £ and probably buy my own back!) or scrappy (wouldnt know where to look). Do they just clip into place or need glueing or fixing?

Any help appreciated. Now to ebay...

Robbing scumbags!

Have you looked on RealOEM? Get the part number and ring your dealer for a price/delivery time.

They dont look extortionate, but an expense you could do without! Only got US price on here $59 for the grille, $28 for the emblem or emblem with supporting plate (whatever that means!).

Good luck!

Excellent link, shame its US. The numbers will be useful when I call my local dealership tomorrow though. Many thanks.

Yeah, we could do with the same but a UK version! Still, hopfully prices are indicative.

Again, good link.

What I need is on there but it is the whole grill + that badge. http://www.c3bmw.co.uk/Page.asp?CategoryID=53 for £46.

Issue is now resolved as my local dealer is getting me one for Thursday for the price of £43.

Thanks for all the tips though.

If any one spots any Saxos/Corsas etc in the Salisbury area sporting an M3 grill let me know!
