I wouldnt mind changing the front brake calipers to big 4pots or 6pots but still retain the OE disc.Has anyone adapted a bigger caliper?

Cheers

Just curious - why not go for bigger discs, too?

Why do you want to change your calipers? Have you ever thought about having your calipers rebuilt, or having new pads, hoses and fluids? New calipers may not be the best ideas!

A decent set of calipers could cost you £1500 plus VAT. A rebuild could cost you a few hundred and with pads deliver amazing results.

You can actually use the new 6 pot BMW performance kit for the front, which retails at around 1100 euro for discs, pads and calipers.

You need a custom made bracket to make the calipers fit, but saw it on an M5 this weekend when visiting my local independent http://www.performance-shop-geel.be/ Think they were selling the bracket for around 160 euro.
