I like it but would prefer one with a bit less miles. Inspection 2 service must be about due on it?

Oil service 12000mls ish
Inspection 1 24000mls ish
Oil service 36000mls ish

so at 38000mls it's just had an oil service and due an inspection 2 at 48000mls ish.

It has a really good spec with the rare cruise control too so in answer to OP question I'd put a cheeky offer in!

damn i miss my silver car, that really is a great colour for the coupe!

as above that is a nice spec, plus you get a one year AUC warranty for piece of mind (assuming the standard warranty runs out before the year is up wink) worth a punt with an offer i recon

I have too much choice.

Pick up this - cheeky offer at 18k? - or save up a bit / get a little loan and go for this:

http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk/www/cars/BENT...

How much choice is it possible to have today at £20-30k?!!

As for the dealer it's being sold from, that's a different matter, but I'm not allowed to name and shame am I?

The Bentley or the BMW one?

Hmm....never heard anything bad about Bowker. My friend bought a couple cars for company from them before and they were ok.

Please do name and shame, as wouldn't like to be messed around!

Doesn't matter if its AUC. It'll be under warranty, it has high mileage so lots of long trips/commute, take it to another dealer for a once over - if its on warranty they'd be only to happy to find something. As for where its being sold there as bad or good as any other Main Dealer.

The BMW, had a bad experience there myself, along with 3 other BMW owners that I know, so for few people I know that have a BMW AND have had a bad experience there...is slightly worrying...

As for Bowker, the one at Preston is superb, the other one in the ad...not so good from mine and others experience....but maybe we were just unlucky...

Given miles I would guess they'd go for £17,500 - £18,000??

Way overpriced considering the 38,000 miles & the other cars available privately that still have Manufacturers Warranty remaining.

I wonder what mine would fetch - 38k miles, Imola Red, 06 plate... 3mths manufacturers warranty remaining... No commutting, just long trips to Scotland, N Wales, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, France and Spain.

Inspection II will be due in another 11k miles...
