Power Flow Exhausts

Hi guys,

Had my Z4M Coupe a while now and ready for a little more noise.

Has anyone had any experience with Power flow, I have heard and read mixed reviews. Please can anyone share their own experiences with them on a BMW?

FYI 3" quad tail pipes back box replacement is £380, dare I say is it a case of you pay for what you get?

I think it all depends on who makes and fits it, my pal had a 3" turbo back system on his mk2 golf, the workmanship was very good, but god is it loud!

Thanks DB for your thoughts.

I suggested their not noisy or quiet tone but somewhere in between.

I would be using the Aylesbury branch had a good chat today and feel a little reassured that the job would be down well, just still not convinced.

Would highly recommend Prospeed in Cardiff. Speak to Charlie. He will make you a handmade system and you can choose how "loud" or "LOUD" you would like! I went for race cats as well, worthwhile if budget permits. Anyway all in cost fitted with race cats would be I imagine £700-£900, when you consider its made with your car on the ramp and no pre fab parts its pretty impressive. As far as efficiency is concerned my Prospeed setup gained me a few BHP over my Supersprint it replaced. Thus very happy customer, if you check on Z3coupe.com you will find other very happy punters. My experience was terrible with Powerflow. In fact I put the powerflow exhaust off my tuned clio in a skip yesterday. Couldn't sell it! This says it all.

Powerflow fitted this to my car im sure, it was done before i bought it, other than the end pipes ( which I dont think go with the car) it seems a well made system. Not sure about the power gains etc but they do provide a life time warranty and these sound great, not to loud but under beans they really sound awesome.

I had a similar system with quad pipes fitted to my old Z3M and it was rediculous , far to loud but that was down to me asking them to make it that loud. You can specify with them how loud you want it.

Its a cheaper process to get some decent noise over branded names in my opionion.
