E90/92 M3 "M" Button Settings and Standard

Fellow M3ers

What do you have your "normal" (i.e. Default) settings on and what do you have your M Button on?

Particularly those with EDC

My Default ; is softest dampers/throttle normal/steering norm/full TC

M Button; Hardest dampers (EDC)/Sport Throttle/Sport Steerng/MDM active

Interested in other settings I can try that are recommended over the weekend. Thanks All...

For D and S mode I use the factory settings.

Dont have EDC, but have you tried turning DSC to OFF
This will let you set S-6 and give you Launch Control

M Button; MDM/sport steering/EDC normal/sport throttle. Otherwise leave on factory default.

Hi MC 99. My standard settings are the same as yours, my M settings same except EDC which I have on the middle setting. I find the hardest setting ideal for track, but too hard for UK roads. I cannot decide which throttle setting I prefer for M - it is easiest to modulate the throttle in the softest setting.

Cheers All input and spent most of the weekend around Yorkshire A roads - MDM is fantastic in the dry and EDC on middle setting is good for a lot of the less than perfect surfaces we call roads. Good weekends driving and appreciated new aspects to the cars character...the engine particularly is something of great wonder than never ceases to impress
