E39 M5's under 10k

Seen a few around the 10k mark.... worth a go or a disaster waiting to happen?

It's either that or a 540i Sport for circa 6-8k

Thinking of a cheap replacement to the M6, not so worried about speed as will be a road only vehicle, not for track work.

Disaster? No not necessarily.

10k gets you something around the 100k mark. They are good for double that if cared for.
Ususal buying advice/rules apply.
Mine is now on 90k and is almost totally perfect. It would be up for about 10k if it had to go.

Bought mine for less and its great. Replacing all the filters and oils along with plugs etc but thats for piece of mind really. Mine even had immaculate alloys, new tires and brakes! along with a full main dealer SH.
