The one you can see from the front of the car through the grill.
I think mine is broke. Coolant temps get to 3/4 on the dial when in stop start traffic, air con on on a hot day.

Switching the air con on and getting out to look at it and it isn't spinning round.

Anyone encountered this before?
Know how to test?
Refitted one?
Etc?

Ta.

The Aux fan seizing is a relatively common fault I think.

I had to have mine replaced. (I sourced a second hand one off ebay, as they are quite expensive)

Yes it's easy to remove. Remove the bumper and the fan shroud can be unbolted and carefully wiggled down and out of the bottom. If it spins by hand OK you can test it by carefully applying 6v to 12v across the brown (+) and blue (-) wires.
I removed mine yesterday while hunting an air con leak and noticed the fan was a bit noisy and rough moving it by hand. Stripping it down 3 of the 4 permanent magnets in the motor had come unglued from the sides due to rust, it still worked but sounded like a bag of bolts. In fact it's not a great case design considering it's exposed to the elements all the time. If you are considering a second hand replacement make sure it's in decent condition.
