I am looking to upgrade my E46 M3 for ocassional track day use.

I have owned this car from nearly new (2004) and now feel I am prepared to move away from standard BMW parts.

I am looking for a reputable BMW specialist garage in the West Midlands area (I live near Birmingham) who can provide some sound advise and carry out tuning work.

I am looking at upgrading brakes first but I also want to look at power upgrades as well.

The guys at speedreligion.net seem to have to a good brake package (6 pot brembo brake kit for £1145). does anyone have any feeback / experience on their work?

Ideally I wanted to garage closer to the Birmingham area. Any recommendations?

Also any other advise in terms of prepping the car for my first track day would be welcomed.

Thanks in advance

Chris

I've just fitted kw coilovers to mine, huge improvement on the road, much more composed, prob 20mph quicker through some of my favourite stretches. Personally I would have thought this would be a better place to start than brakes.

You need to register on M-Torque - A huge e46 m3 following on there and centred largely around varying degrees of modification.

I'm sure you'll find more information there than you could ever need !!

Another good place would be Evotechnik.net, there are far more modified cars there than Mtorque.
