The only thing I can say is shop around. It took me ages to find a good quote for my new car.

£1100 FC with Admiral on a new M3. The closest anyone else came was just over £2000!

BTW, that is the same as Tesco wanted to renew my policy last year on a SEAT FFS!

Adrian Flux came up with the best quote for me (with 12k miles p.a. including business use, garaged over night). There was a PH discount being offered a few months back, which brought the premium under the £1k mark.

admiral multicar - Z4MR (SD&C + limited business) - garaged, 528i (SD&C + limited business), and SLK230K (SD&C and limited mileage) - all about 800 quids for two of us 40's+ FNCDs and no declarations.

always found admiral great.

Quoted and bought online with More>than. Been with them since I bought the Z4MC.

I pay £870 with Admiral, Full NCB, NCB protection, Hire car, Legal, Windscreen, driveway in a nice area.

Im 22 also so you should be able to get it cheaper than that!

I did however do A LOT of haggling with them over the space of 2 weeks.

the problem i've got is a £34000 claim from last march (my previous z4) alot of online places won't quote for claims over 20k without phoning (admiral, elephant and more than) eveyone one i've phoned have been rubbish with the excepton of flux and my renewal with swiftcover.
