Nurburgring anyone? (In my Z4MC)
Discussion
I'm there on the 21st of August
Tips, well take it easy! And let the uber fast german drivers past you on the left, and indicate right to show your staying over for them.
Hotel Scholz in Koblenz is a nice place to stay, and cheap. Theres a great italian down the road from it, and a steak house 5 mins walk away.
Its the best length of road int he world, i doubt you'll be able to go and have a bad time
Thanks
Matt

me and a few friends got back from our first trip a few weeks ago.
I loved it want to go back before the end of the year, a couple of the other guys were a bit more of the opinion they could take it or leave it. I think the insurance worries might have had something to do with it and not doing enough laps to even start to learn it.
Having said that the atmosphere around the place was great.
Where are you staying? we stayed at http://www.burgstube.com/ which was a nice hotel about 2 minutes from the track entrance. The guy who ran it (Martin) was happy to advise people who'd never driven the ring of the do's and don'ts which was well worth listening to.
We tried to get to the track very early at the weekend (7.30 seams to ring a bell) to get a couple of laps in before it got too buzy and then headed to one of the car parks around the track to watch late morning / early afternoon. our weekend was cut slightly short on monday evening due to a crash which was a shame.
Other than that take it easy for the first few laps and if it rains don't bother going out, we saw a bike come off at what looked like walking pace in the wet.
Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

We were there for the third time in June. Be bloody careful! I'd recommend leaving the DCS on and keeping an eye on your mirrors.
The first sight I saw the first time I went to the ring was a Z4MC that had rolled!
It has to be done though it really is amazing. I cant wait to get back again next year.
