M5 Options....Help/Advice Please!
Discussion
Hi all!
I'm very close to taking the E60 plunge.....interested in two cars....
They have these options in common...blue tooth, BMW Connect Drive-Assist, brushed aluminium interior, logic 7 and heated rear seats.
They're 06 cars with 17K and 26K on the clocks, with the higher-mileage one having these additional options....comfort access, high beam assist, leather interior (??), M-seats, rear/side sunblinds.
I think the 17K car is in the lower tax bracket.
My head says the lower mileage car with fewer options, although those M-seats are fab.
Would it be worth my while going for the slighly leggier car with more options??
What do you think.....I'm not sure!
Thanks in advance for any help/advice!

Both AUC cars, similar atate of servicing etc
And that's a good question.....what exactly is BMW ConnectDrive-Assist??
I know exactly what the others are!
By the way, is anyone able to compare M-seats VS standard seats.....do you really notice a big difference in genearl, everyday use? I appreciate the M-seats would come into their own when hammering in twisties etc

I haven't got them, it would be fun to have them though. I don't think they would be top of the list for me.And that's a good question.....what exactly is BMW ConnectDrive-Assist??

I have a button on the roof with an SOS moniker - if you push this it connects you to the emergency services using a SIM card in the car.
When doing this it also sends your location by using the sat nav. It is not however a tracker and you are likely to need one fitting for your insurance.

I think the BMW Connect Drive Assist incorporates things like connecting to the internet, contacting BMW assist, traffic information?
Some say there's even a tracking facility built in....does this mean I won't need to fit a tracker to my M5??
I've noticed it in the iDrive, it's not greyed out and is active so I assume I have it. Internet you say? Some say there's even a tracking facility built in....does this mean I won't need to fit a tracker to my M5??
