E36 M3 Alarm too Sensitive, Can it be adjusted?

Not sure about adjusting, but, FWIW: check the vents are all closed, & there's nothing spider-like swinging from the ultrasonics. I give them a gentle hoover every so often, as dust build up can trigger them.
The bonnet pins can break, but you'd normally get a warning bleep once you've set it. Sometimes the auto dim on the interior lights mucks about, which can also cause false alarms.
