Evening guys!

Just a quick question for those of you with knowledge or experience of these beasts......for general, everyday driving (say commuting to and from work 30 mins each way, occasional spirited driving with respect for brakes), what life would be expected from discs and pads from new??

I've been told by a dealer that I can expect to replace pads AND discs every 20K or so.......surely discs at least should last longer than that for non-brutal or track driving??

I know that RS4s can be bad for this.....is it also the case for the M5?

Thanks in advance for any input.....the comments/advice on here are invaluable.

I've been told my rear discs will need changing in 2500 miles and fronts in 8000. It's the first time and that will then be on a mileage of 33000 and 38000 miles respectively.
