Its a good car and a known quantity.
Its got a fairly new engine and clutch (replaced by BMW 20k miles ago).
I've shoved polybushes in
Its god braided clutch hose
I've done the 840 Brembo brake upgrade
Everything else is standard.
Nothing wrong with it really.

Then I went in an R34 GTR on the weekend and its got me thinking I should sell it and get another turbocharged monster.

Am I being daft selling a perfectly good car for another potential money pit.

Yes.

Keep it and use the other one in your garage more.

I can understand why you would be reluctant if its a good one - hard to find now. I probably preferred my E36 EVO over my E46 and was most definately better value for money.

Im in London as well so not far im sure - if you do sell up I would like to take a look so PM me, honestly not looking to waste your time.

Cheers

Well, about to go on holiday for 2 weeks in the sun.
Whist away, am getting the paint on the 355 sorted, so perhaps I will come back and the feeling will have passed...

Off topic, but:

Cactussed - I spotted you on Grosvenor Place earlier in the week - the "stickered up" 355 was looking very cool indeed cool

I'm ALWAYS thinking about doing something like that but am hearing horror stories about the internals not holding up.

No worries mate, you can tell me about it next time you pop over. On a side note A, i've just returned from a mini hoon around the country lanes near Hannah's in the sunshine and i couldn't help but think about you selling yours. I seriously think that you'll regret it if you do. It may have got some bad press when realised but it's such a good driving machine, it really is. I mean it when i say that circumstances permitting, i don't think i'll ever sell it !

Doing a Lazarus on this thread, but after 2 week sin the sun, I've decided to keep the M3. Its just too good. I think I'm going to try a louder exhaust along with fitting the Brembos.
