Is there a way of telling a std M3 for a CS version ?

I want a track day car, the faster rack and less aggressive TC are a must !!

Main ones are..

CSLish wheels
Alcantara steering wheel with single 'M' button

Both can be retrofitted to non-CS versions, so check that the M-button does something.

CS will have a suede steering wheel and CSL style alloys. It also has the different steering rack, as you said. In my opinion, if you want a track orientated M3, you'd be far better off with a CSL. Unless you want a manual, of course.

CSL is fine as an everyday car and so much better on a track.
