ISOFIX Child Seat Fixings?

thanks Deano.
I'm thinking of getting a really top spec E46 Convertible but I don't like the idea of creasing up the rear seat leather with child seats - does the ISOFIX system allow you to prevent damage to the leather?
By my experience, no. Isofix bases are very heavy and will leave an imprint on leather.I'm thinking of getting a really top spec E46 Convertible but I don't like the idea of creasing up the rear seat leather with child seats - does the ISOFIX system allow you to prevent damage to the leather?
I have the Britax, one of these jobbies.

They do make an indentation on the cushion, but once it comes out and other people sit on the rear seats, it works its way out after a little while. You just need to be careful when trying to put it in place. I would recommend that you drop the hood

Knew I'd seen it in Top Gear...not custom fit for your car, but will stay put anyway, fitted underneath an isofix seat...
