Hi guys

Quick question, have permission from SWMBO to get a track day car, looked at various cars, locost etc, but would really like a E30 M3, but funds don't match, also I might feel slightly wrong tearing apart a lovely M3. sS was wondering is there a source for the E30 M3 body kit, i.e. front valance, rear wing, wide arches etc?

Basically the current thinking is to get a cheapish 325i and turn it into a M3 replica for track days and the odd hillclimb sprint.

cheers

You can get an M3 kit but its a huge job.....you can either gets front wings or bodykit to attach to original but if you're wanting it to look authentic then its gonna be big because there is the back window/bootlid set-up.

Why not just make a nice E30 and put in a S50?

interesting, not to worried about amount of work as it is going to be a long term project, just weighing up the options at the moment, always been a fan of the original M3's so was thinking of doing something like this.

Will spend some time on google looking for technical specs etc on the E30 M3 and the standard E30, see what the best course of action might be.

just spotted this in the classifieds, something like this would be the goal, but stripped out track day car, interesting
