Taken the Z4MC into Cooper Cobham today because the emissions light was on, fault was reading camshaft sensor, that has been replaced, as has the increment wheel, all wiring has been tested, apparently now they are going to fit a new DME unit. The timing was also very very slightly out so that has been fixed. THANK GOD for BMW warranties that`s all I can say. Anyone know how much this little lot would ahve cost? Bless `em they even re seated the valence grille where I had hit a pheasant.

Went to go pick the car up, they were out on a test drive. Emissions light back on!! If a car is re-mapped can this cause this? It`s really stumping the M technician. They have been in touch with BMW technical department but they move with all the alacrity of a snail on crutches. I`m faced with the possibility of a weekend with a new Z4 as courtesy car so can`t be all bad!!
