Z4MC buying guide is in this month's EVO.

Although slightly inaccurate in claiming the standard tyres are runflats, and if you replace them you should get some tyre foam (I'll stick to the two cans supplied from new in the boot compartment). And no mention of lambda sensors on the 'common faults' list.

I was thinking that when reading the article.
Think they were originally going to do a guide for the Z4 "range".

Annoying when facts are wrong, makes me dubious on other stuff.
What about that bit on throttle re-setting, is that true ?
And is it the same on an M3 ?

And the bit about the electric power steering was wrong. A bit slack to be honest, 10 minutes reading a forum, or even watching the top gear review could have supplied them with the correct info.

Apparently that throttle re-set does work, although I've

a) not tried it myself
b) I've heard other timings.. 15 sec for example.

I thought it was a pretty lame guide by their normal standards. Seemed to lack depth. Perhaps there was not much to be said?

Made me want one though biggrin

Saw it in the shop. Was going to buy it but thought I'd check and make sure I had the right month. What rubbish. Hardly anything to speak of.

No mention of the different suspension setup between the roadster and coupe. I would have liked some realtime comparisons on lap times and any decent motoring journalist knows that M's don't come with run flats.
