Just been on my first track day today in my E92 M3 and it was an awesome day!
The event was at an airfield and well-organised - there were loads of really nice cars there including 2 black CSLs which looked stunning and a couple of GT3s. And of course a load of Caterhams.
I have to say that I was mightily impressed with my car. I always knew it was a great road car but on track it was incredible - I even forgot to put the dampers on sport the first couple of times out but then remembered and it made a huge difference to the handling! I was amazed by how good it was (I suppose I shouldn't have been, but the sheer pace of it was incredible to experience).
I really don't know what to get next - but whatever it is it'll take some motor to beat the current M3, it's completely amazing - I'm not sure it can be done! Still looking forward to my next track day!!
