Folks,

Boring question, but I'm in need of some of the above for the Zed. Given the need for Castrol 10W-60 specifically, where can I buy this from off the self given that Helfrauds et al don't seem to stock it?

Cheers,

GP

I get mine from Opie - although I've found the Z4MC not using any oil between oil services anyway (I do one every 6,000-7,000 miles).

If you need enough for a service, then go for their 'service pack' as it's cheaper for the same amount of oil with a filter thrown in as buying the oil alone.

Also don't forget to sign into the member's section so you get your member's discount - plus ther's some extra discounts on at the moment too.

Cheers Tony, that's very helpful.

My wee beastie is still bedding in (bless it) having covered 3900 miles, so I guess a little oil consumption is normal. I only need a litre of the stuff for now, just to top up the level if/when it dips below.

Opie are doing some pretty good deals on Castrol 10w-60 at the mo if you like to buy in bulk.

GP,

I too get mine from Opie. Can't fault the service received.

Another thumbs up for Opie. I used them for the first time this week - ordered Weds with priority handling, delivered 8am Thursday. Big saving over driving 30 miles to the Porsche Centre.

I believe so online - but you have to order it for delivery to home/work address. It's not a collect in store job.
I've been shopping around as I need to get 6litres for my Z3MC - the Opie service pack does seem to be the cost efficient way to go about things. Is there any big deal in using the UFI 3rd party oil filter rather than an oem one?

Halfords do it in store aswell, but its special order stuff, speak to someone about it at the counter.

Other then that first choice is Opie.

And also Euro Car Parts.
