Anyone know a company that can custom make one of these heat shields or has had one made?

I think your first port of call should be CA Automotive. They will custom make carbon products for the Z4m and probably have done so in the past. I priced up some carbon parts just for a laugh and got to about £18,500 for wings front and rear, bonnet, doors, roof and tailgate, splitter and diffuser. I wonder how much of a weight saving this would bring?
