loving that. would appear to be GT3 RS style approach to a road and track car as opposed to a more 50/50 balance of the e46 CSL which still had rear seats and no climbing frame. Price is bound to be horrific. Want the wheels for my E92 M3, and the brake kit would be welcome...good on BMW M division for developing it.

Holy crap. that. is. awesome.

How much?

Edited: just seen 115000 euro, call that £100k probably, thats certainly erm aiming high, GT3RS, R8 V10 etc

Just thinking some more, this seems to be the BMW riposte to the CLK63 AMG Black Series. Same-ish pricing and same bespoke manufacture, i.e individually ordered and produced at ///M itself.

Interesting, but a bit close to the GT3 RS in price. Still might buy one at 300 bhp/tonne.

Lovely but just give me the brakes and exhaust.

Wonder if they will be an option from BMW to upgrade? scratchchin

Has been talked about for a couple of weeks on M3 Post - some guy had all the details and was getting a LOT of flak for making stuff up! Hope they apologise (unlikely).

That looks awesome. Maybe the rear spoiler could have been styled a bit more tastefully like an exagerated CSL lip, or E36 GT part ..... something a little less Halfords.

£100k is ludicrous money, however a large part of that is the current exchange rate. R8 V10 Audis and GT3 RS' wont stay that price forever if things stay as they are.

And why not? Only 30 cars, they will sell like hot cakes.

Because it is not as good as a GT3RS or R8 V10 perhaps?

Why not as good as a GT3?

And isn't there room for a rival great track car, which is also fairly pleasant to drive to the track?

R8 V10 surely not any sort of competitor, though a wonderful road car.
