Hello //M Power people smile

I'm hoping to arrange a drive in an E46 M3 (manual) tomorrow and thought I'd ask for a little advice as to what I should look for when I'm driving the car.

Any advice you have will be more than welcome!

Get a professional inspection from a well reagarded indy. It will be the best £200 you will ever spend!

That's a certainty should I go ahead with the car in question.

I was after things to look and listen to from the car, are there signs with the M3 I should look for? I understand the gearbox can be a bit stiff when started from cold.

Get an AUC inspection at a dealer. Surprising what they throw up...

Also, look for fag burns on the front of the drivers window trim.

Check seat bolsters inflate/deflate.

Does it track straight or pull to one side? They seem very sensitive to alignment. Get a full KDS done if you buy it, not some cheapo tracking job.
