bmw m3 e46... smg probs please help !!!!!!!

hi i have a 2003 year e46 bmw which has loss all gears and wont start... i cant hear the pump any more... please can any 1 help.... i hear that thr pumps goes but how do you check this ?

Before we go down the costly route of new hydraulic pumps lets get the basics out the way first.

Has your battery plenty of juice?

Have you checked all your fuses? especially the ones in the engine compartment?

Relays?

As above. Check all the basics. Have you tried giving the bonnet a good slam?

thanks guys, checked fuses & relays all ok... battery is at full power.. bonect switch is working... i now booking in to bmw .... but thanks boys !!!! wish me luck lol

hi,it was the ecu, with checking of the vehicle and fitment of ecu total bill was £695... collecting 2day .... lets see !!!! lol
