e39 M5 Battery Change

My battery is dead and I have bought a decent bosch replacement with same power as OE. Just wondering if anyone knows the proceedure for replacing the battery. I understand how to unbolt etc, just wondering if there is a proceedure for reconnecting once the battery is in place to protect any sensitive electric items.

Dont touch the red and and the black one...

No nothing special needs doing.

Dont shut the boot lid with the battery terminals removed unless you already know that it will open with the key
