I picked up my Carbon Black Z4MC yesterday - all I can say is what a car!! I didn't originally go out to buy one but after test driving several cars there was no doubt the coupe was for me. I think its going to take a while to master, throttle in 1st gear is very sensitive and haven't quite got the hang of it yet but I'm sure that will come! I have come from a FocusRS Mk1 which is still sitting on my drive although I am thinking of selling that next week as I can't convince my wife to keep it as my day to day car.

I'll get some pics up at the weekend as at the moment I go to and from work in the dark. Any other owners in the Berks area?

Cheers

Hello! Car sounds awesome, look forward to seeing the pics. I'm in Berks too, Hungerford. It isn't the Car that has been on Dick Lovett's forecourt is it? Mine is an Imola red M Coupe. You'll soon get the hang of driving between 1st and 2nd, that said it is in no way perfect and I am thinking of the CDV modification from Zeckhausen Racing.
Don't turn the DSC off quite yet, especially in the wet. Enjoy!!

Congratulations! Welcome to the club.

As I'm sure you're aware, the Sport button sharpens the throttle response which can lead to kangerooing in first around town while you get used to it. But even out of Sport, you need to be quite firm and smooth with the throttle to avoid the kangeroos.

Enjoy the new toy! Any pics?

I bought it from DL in Swindon, its carbon balck with black leather interior, 08 plate. I got them to tidy the bodywork up as it had a few stone chips on the bonnet but other than that I'm really pleased with it.

Good choice, not long had mine (about 4 weeks).

You should get used to the throttle pretty quickly.

Enjoy!
