Squeaking seat!

It is driving me nuts. The driver's seat in my M6 squeaks like there is no tomoroow. seems to be the backrest area. Told BMW about it, they said they couldn't see the problem (it's fking loud and under the slightest pressure!). Anyone had the same problem? do I need to buy a new seat or is this a "soak the whole seat in wd40" jobbie?

I would get the car / seat along to B Trim in Enfield who may well be able to solve your problem. These guys are major BMW retrimmers and will know the frames etc perfectly and what causes your squeek.

Had the same issue on mine. Got the sub-frame replaced under auc warranty. Car was 3.5yrs/38K when done.
