After market warranty on an E39 M5

Chaps, Is an aftermarket warranty worth the paper its written on for an E39 M5. I have found a nice one with Full BMWSH and it can be covered (ie less than 10yrs old and less than 100k.

However, even though it says that engines are covered will a vanos issue still be covered. Claim limit is £5K (as I think most are).

BMW warranty is terrible value for money. If you look after the car properly (correct oil grade and allow it to warm up nicely) it should be fine. You'll save the cost of a vanos repair bill in less than two years.
