e46 M3 Xenon Control Units

Hey,

Does anyone know or have two spare Xenon Control units that they are willing to sell. Both my Xenons are intermittent and sometimes work absolutly fine but then other days only one may work.

I have my MOT due in january and dont really want one of the Xenons to fail and then only to come back on once i drive it away from the test centre.

Also do the normal e46 coupes/saloons xenon units work in an e46 M3?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Are you talking about the ballasts? I wouldnt think there would be any difference between non M and M cars, I would suspect any E46 unit would do but you won't find them cheap!

I work for BMW Sytner and have got quotes of £400 each ballast (ex. discount)so would rather look for a write off vechile or if anyone had any spares. We do get alot of trade-ins but unfortuatly can't have them from said car.

Im just worried that they will play up on MOT day which is not ideal.
