The wife has just bought a M5 E60 to replace her M3 E46. The M3 was a quick car and brilliant to drive and the Chimaera 500 she had before that was also a very quick and great fun. But the M5 is league above those, its performance is just astonishing.

I have faffed about with what I previously thought quick cars 300 bhp scooby group 1 RS 2000 but nothing like the M5. If anyone is deliberating over one and not worried about the fuel consumption - get one.

You wont be dissapointed

I am always still amazed how quick that car is with all things considered.

She is indeed, I currently own and drive a 150,000 miler E300 merc diesel. Bit of a contrast - need to update my profile and show it off!

Hello wavey

yes i do like my cars! The M5 is completely different to anything i have driven before - got it a couple of days before christmas and am now starting to get used to it. But i do love it! bounce

and dont feel too sorry for shillers - he seemed pretty happy when i dropped him off at the pub in it tonight!
