Hi all!

I'm really cheesed off......will be needing new rear tyres for the M5 shortly, but was shocked to find that the Michelin PS2s (285/35 ZR 19) are on back order and will not be available for a couple of months!!

I've tried everywhere I can think of, but no joy.

Does anyone on here know where I might get a couple??

I don't fancy using another make of tyre, as I've grown to trust PS2s....good all-rounders and very progressive on the limit.....wear well too.

Maybe my car will just have to go back into hibernation!!

Don't know if it will be better or worse, but the new Michelin Pilot Sport PS3 is out in January.

As is the new Continental Sport Contact 5 (don't know what happened to the 4).

PS2's in many sizes have now been phased out. The PS3's will be in dealerships shortly so I would wait.

You could try Costco - they sell Michelins and I have bought PS2s from there in the past.

Seems I'm fooked folks!

Nothing doing with Michelin....PS3s will not be available for at least two months....can't get my head round that!

One BMW dealer said he could get me a pair in early January....wants £370 each FFS!

So should I barely use the car for the next two months and HOPE that PS2s/3s arrive or should I stick lesser tyres on??

The latter is my only realistic option.....maybe Falkens for now?

Will speak to BMW customer services to see if they can assist.....this is just ste!

You could try CTS in Derby. They managed to source me some PS2's for my M3 the same day when everyone else was at a loss as to when they'd get some in if at all.
