Hi folks,

I bought a DICE iPod kit for my e46 M3 a few weeks back. While installing it I decided I knew better than the manufacture and ignored the advice to disconnect both battery terminals. Clever eh!

When I first connected it up it initialised ok and music started playing... great! Except that i couldn't browse my iPod tunes and nor could I skip tracks properly. Not so great.

Now its stopped working all together and just tells me what the volume setting is and a few other bits of information. I've tried disconnecting it and disconnected the neg terminal on the battery again.

I assume that I should try disconnecting both battery terminals? Or have I broken the DICE kit?!

I want to try disconnecting both battery terminals on now, but there is a couple of wires on the red terminal, and I'm not sure if anything will explode if I touch it?

Any advice / tips would be appreciated!

Cheers

Well, after a bit of playing about I have managed to get sound to come back out again. Still can't control the track selection properly. Bloody thing.

True, but i'd like to get it sorted myself if I can.

Can anyone help with disconnecting the +ve battery terminal? Should I be concerned about the extra gubbins attached or not?
