New Generation M Engines - All Turbo
Discussion
Love the lateral thinking of reversing the engineflow and having the exhaust and turbo in the V. Where does the exhaust system from the turbo's come out though, down the back between the engine and bulkhead I pressume...
I think the next generation M3 engine will adopt the same layout, but with two cylinders lopped of the back, making it a V6 of just over 3 litres.

Please, no! I've got used to the idea of turbocharged M engines, but BMW sixes must be straight.
I agree with the above, however am keeping faith in the M boys being able to produce something pretty stunning and appealing no matter how they decide to progress .... Whenever the X6 and X5 M cars are mentioned I put my fingers in my ears whilst yelling "LA LA LA LA LA LA LA!" in order to pretend that these cars don't exist.Gassing Station | M Power | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
