E36 M3 rear coilover conversion help
Discussion
Chaps, i currently have a set of Spax coilovers on the M3,on the rear of the car it's a conversion from the seperate spring/damper setup to full coilover.
Could the other people running the same type of rear setup (i think intrax/gaz are the same type) advise where the top of the rear spring is mounted against. Is it located in a spring cup so the full weight is mounted through the rear damper top mounts? Or is the spring up against the turret to spread the load.
Mine are located against the turret but for a start they interfere with the bolts on the top mounts and i cannot see any washers/spring cup (literally looks like it's sat against the body). Is this correct or should it be damped or washered or have i missed something?
