Just had a message saying this is due soon (470 miles) Is this a BMW only job because of the warranty or any old garage?

Mine is 100 miles overdue, but I have my MOT in March, and it looks as if brake fluid and oil service come up in a couple of thousand miles anyway, so I'm going to do them all together.

I just did mine myself, honestly, it's the easiest thing you will ever have to do.

I bought a set of microfilters (cabin air filters) off eBay for around £30, the job took me 10 mins to do, reset the computer myself and it's now showing as having 38,000 miles before it needs doing again.
