Hi all,

What are your views on the running in service being completed at 1800+ (nearly 1900), on an M3 CSL, car is on 03 plate.

Also, the car has no warrany, 41000+ miles, but does have FBMWSH

thanks in advance.

You know you can take out a BMW warranty despite it lapsing now don't you? However I don't think you'll be able to with the running in service being late. Also BMW won't give you any good will out of warranty if that service is late, I think they allow about 300 miles, but you are best to check with your local dealers.

It has FSH with BMW, no warranty with BMW, but it is more than three years now right, I don't see a problem with it.
If it was an M3 a year old with the first service "OUTSIDE" 1200 miles I would walk away. Enjoy.

I was led to beleive the running in service had tolerances from 900 to 1800 miles (ish)?

As neil.d says theres is a slight tolerance on it, mines got done at exactly 1900, i phoned bmw to confirm this was ok and they said it was fine, no problems at all
