Hey everyone...

Have seen plenty of Z4MC's with CSLs which look very tasty indeed but what about the Roadster versions?

Pics of you pride and joy if you please biggrin

its pops and bangs alot on the over run, also at 7900rpm changes it bangs, you can just hear it in the vids, this is by far the loudest exhaust setup for the z4m infact its ear bleedingly loud!! lol, luckily mines a weekend thing but no way could i have it on everyday but as your a tvr man i think its perfect for you!!!

I keep resisting but it's going to happen sooner rather than later. I should just give up the fight and get them...

Guys I am looking at buying a Z4m Coupe and putting some CSL alloys on.

What size do I need to get? I have seen both 18" or 19" CSL Wheels advertised?

Genuine CSLs only came in 19" - copies came in whatever size you wanted.

If they're being sold as genuine, then make sure they're genuine - otherwise assume they're not.

I am currently selling my M roadster with CSL's. It was the one thing I wanted it to have over anything else when I bought it as they look so much better than the standard wheels.
Been trying to sell it without much luck. pretty certain it's the time of year but got myself wondering if people actually prefer standard wheels! Surely not!

no do think people prefur the standard wheels, i just thing the stock wheels look really nice and the csl wheels are a luxury really and an expensive luxury at that, so when people can afford them they'll endulge, but were all fresh out of xmas, new year ect ect so we all abit broke atm, i have the csls already but if i didnt i certainly wouldnt be buying them right after xmas, just hold on alittle and demand will rise shortly!!

Yep I'd happily take those CSLs off you for a standard set...I very nearly bought a roadster with CSLs when I was originally looking but in the end it didn't have the rest of the spec to fit. I'm really surprised they're not selling to be honest. Great cars and a good price point there.

Have been watching the Z4MR adverts for some time now. I have to shift my 3.0 Z4R later in the year and then will be getting one.
The prices are steady from what I can see but they do seem to take some amount of time to sell.
You should take a look at the standard Z4's - the market is flooded with them.

I think people get a bit scared by some of the reports (i.e. parkers) that criticise the harsh ride. The reality is that our roads are crap yes, but I don't have any complaints and more importantly neither does the missus. I think that coupled with 21 mpg, max tax etc means that there's an impression you have to be a bit "hardcore" to drive one which might put off the standard punter.

No thanks pal, if I end up keeping it for a while longer i'd prefer the CSL's on it.
I appreciate the comments about the reviews re harsh ride etc (which I don't find harsh considering the type of car) but when you consider the performance, looks and build quality you're getting for less than 20k they still must be one of the best value, high performance cars on the road!
Spoke to a few dealers etc who have told me April is the best time to sell and the prices will probably increase slightly. Makes sence really.

Prices may be rising, but it's still a hard time to sell. I've just been offered a £500 increase over what I was offered last month by a dealer, however it was still much lower than any I've seen in private sales, and I don't want to sell it yet.
