M3 E46 - Deleting Telephone directory

Hi

I have recently bought a 2004 M3 E46 with Sat Nav, TV etc. Having set up my phone for the hands free compatibility with bluetooth, I cannot find a way to remove the previous owners contacts from the computer system. I'm finding this really frustrating!

Any help would be greatly received.

You'll have to re-pair your own phone after doing this mate.

Hold the 'man speaking' button above the storage compartment for about three seconds, then turn key to position 1. Release button after a further 3 seconds.

"Bluetooth pairing" appears on screen.

Now press the 'man speaking' button for approx 10 seconds until you hear some beeps. "Paired device deleted" appears on the screen.

Turn key back to position 0.

All phones / phonebooks are now deleted.

Now simply re-pair your own phone.
