Hi Guys ,

I bought the supercharger kit myself from the states through Vivid racing's UK Agent (Darren Moseley pistonhead member)

http://www.vividracing.com/blog/vivid-racing-uk/

product comes from this company

http://www.vf-engineering.com/

Its the stage 2 charged cooled ,

I have been toying for a very long time with supoercharging my M3 , done a hell of alot of research around supercharging the straight 6 M3 engine , and ended up with one if not the most expensive kits around , but i can really see huge amount of R&D has gone into the total kit .

I am over halfway on the fitting front and everything has fitted extremely well and is made to a very high standard .

I will post some pics of the total kit and how far i have got with fitting the kit .

I will have to take a break from working on my own car as the workshop is fully booked for next week , but of course asap i will be to finish it . I Have had the kit for well over a month or 2 just been too busy to install it .

I am planning to take many photos and videos , and once all is running and working correctly after a few hundred miles a book in for rolling road test will be on the cards .

I promise to keep the post coming as i move forward with advents anyway pics

As said i will keep updating as and when

I'm liking the charger cooler built into the plenum, nice design. Looks to be a quality kit.

really looking forward to updates to this conversion, however WRT that video .... What an awesome machine. Seems to be a few clearance issues between the tyres and the bodywork, however, and the drivers one handed driving style wouldn't fill me with confidence if I were his passenger.

They do conversions on the US M3 engine (S52) not the Euro M3 engine (S50). Completely different beastie unfortunately.

One of the reasons i went for this company over others (which i contacted or trawled the forums) it seems most kits have some problems with euro cars compared to USA cars .

The stage 2 kit when fitted to a car in the states has to have the euro less restricted headers etc .

The outcome of the stage 2 kit is the car is mapped with some parts changed before hand to a euro spec car , the only thing needed to be changed to an already euro car is the cats , and also recommend the exhaust system .

so when i kept asking the question over and over "will it work on a euro car as others never work straight out of the box" is yes the USA cars are running euro spec .

The stage 2 kit will not work with USA headers or standard cats

Note this is all above for s52 engine

Did you mean the E46 S54?
The US S54 just differs from the Euro S54 by an extra Cat and different plenum/headers so it makes sense.

The US E36 S52 is, I believe, just a modified M52 and runs with a single throttle body unlike the Euro E36 S50's which are completely different engine on six throttle bodies etc.

If they did a kit for the Euro E36 S50B32 I would be tempted.
