Can anyone recommend a good value alloy refurb outfit for 4 x e46 19" m3 alloys? Im in Surrey but dont mind a little distance for the right job/price..

Cheers

Dan

Ps. Im sure this has been covered in a previous thread but I can't find. What is a good all-round size and make of tyre for an e46 m3 for road use?

I paid £375+VAT to get mine done at Lepsons iirc.

I went for a painted finish rather than polished (you don't get a warranty with polished). Very impressed at the service and quality of the finish:

Based in Gillingham, Kent - but there is one near Swindon too iirc.

I used wheelrefurbishing.co.uk (BJV) for the refurb of my M3 alloys recently. I found them a bit surly and was very disappointed with the finish, which was terrible on two of the wheels (obvious bubbles and marks in paintwork on one wheel and literally laughably bad filling on another).

On collection, the guy I was dealing with tried to tell me they were acceptable. The next guy I spoke to effectively asked me what I wanted for a cheap job (£45 a wheel). I pointed out that I hadnt asked for a cheap job - I'd wanted a decent wheel refurb and they gave me the price.

Eventually, they re-did the wheels without extra cost, but I wasnt impressed.

Was disappointed as the Mrs had them do the wheels on her S3 a few years back and the job seemed good.

Montys wheels and tyres.
Fantastic service.

I think my old 19's were done by Lepsons. They did a fantastic job and the finish remained good. Just make sure that they're washed and waxed regularly and they should stay blemish free.

I used MaxPowderAlloys.co.uk in Hemel for a re-furb and custom paint-job. £50 a wheel!

I used wheelrefurbishing.co.uk (BJV) recently and am happy with the results. Nothing to complain about on the phone/email service really, just got on with it. At the price you really can't complain in my opinion.

Re monty's.. who do you think they use? Clues above.

Another vote for Lepsons. Had one of my CSL alloys done there when I owned the M and the work was first class.
