Disc and Caliper replacement e46 M3

Hi all,as title says it looks like im in for a bit of a bill i have been quoted £1000.00 from a reputable indie for this job inclusive of pads and labour does this sound resonable?

Front and rear or just front? Why are you changing the calipers? Genuine discs and pads all round are roughly £600ish from the dealers.
