46 M3 suspension height
Discussion
Hi all,
bought my m3 last June which had the standard 18" wheels on. Bought a set of genuine CSl's about 3-4 months ago and i cant help but notice how high the rear suspension is. when the 18's were on the car i could barely fit my hand in the rear arches, now there seems to be alot more room. Surely this is not right? i would have assumed that there would be less room due to the increase in wheel size! Maybe it is just me being paranoid but other M3's that i see seem to sit alot lower!
Any suggestions on whether there is something wrong and what i can do it rectify the problem ( thought about buying some lowering springs)
thanks in advance

tyres on the 18's were 225/45/18 255/40/18 i think and the current 19's are 225/40/19 255/35/19. Saying that the rear tyres should be 265/30/19 as the CSL's are slighty wider than both the standard 18 and 19" alloys! not too sure if this is contributing to the problem

Looking at that the rears are the same overall radius so shouldn't be any difference really. Switching to 265/30/19 will make the problem worse though.
