That looks like a perfect set-up, discrete and purposeful, Rockford Fosgate is a very established but old skool brand; interesting choice.

ta - standard oem head unit (16:9 screen). The RF 3Sixty sorts the signal out though!

Why haven't they taken the power lead for the amp directly to the battery, after all it is the best source of power................... battery lives in the boot, right?

No idea! I'll have to ask. I'm sure there was a valid reason as the battery is as you say, also in the boot.
