E46 M3 Air Filter

I'm going to change the air filter on my M3 this week and was wondering whether I should maybe upgrade to a higher flow panel filter from the likes of Pipercross or just stick with a standard one. Any advice or experiences will be appreciated.

Pointless IMO. If anyone can notice 7 of so BHP if you believe the claims I would be very suprised.

If you use oil saturated K+N or similar you may have MAF issues too as it can coat and spoil the meter readings.
