Can anyone out there recommend anyone who can refurbish alloy wheels in Hampshire? Any idea what cost you should expect for a good quality finish?

The wheel specialist in Fareham. I've had several cars done there and have seen some exotica in there as well. Also have heard other good comments on them. Have to say that I have no relation with them other than as a customer!

Colleague just had the 19" alloys on her E46 M3 refurbed at myalloys in Basingstoke and advised she'd use them again.

Had both my monaro and m3 18s powder coated graphite by them, would def use them again.

I would HIGHLY reccomend these guys also. They did mine to a specific custom made colour and refurbished the wheels and they still a perfect good as new. Really nice people and exceptional quality work.

they aint heap though, i was quoted £400 for strip, powder coat and refit balance tyres on 19's kind of put me off. I'd have thought more like £250-280

Yeah, very happy with the job they did on mine - not quite as shiney as the factory finish, but pretty good, and lasted a winter without peeling at all.

£400 is about right. They wanted £380 for my 18inch M5 wheels.

Had mine done there too - £260 for four I think. Great work.

TheWheelMan a little further south that Segensworth is quoting £55+VAT for chemical dip, sandblast, prime, powdercoat and bake plus laquer.

Tempted at that price, only £50 per wheel for standard colour or £55 if you want a mixed colour.

Includes wheel strip, refit and balance!!

Aren't the E46/E9x diamond cut alloys? I remember enquiring to the wheel specialist a year or so ago about my Mondeo's alloys and they said they didn't do this finish as they could not guarantee it would last a year without any signs of peeling/burnish.
